Blooming-Blossoming-Budding

Spring is such a wonderful time of the year. It is a time of newness and fresh ideas. Spring is also the time of the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC. The event's official website describes it best:
"Each year, the National Cherry Blossom Festival commemorates the 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to the city of Washington, DC. The gift and annual celebration honor the lasting friendship between the United States and Japan and the continued close relationship between the two countries."

There are many activities to take part in now. Festivities wrap up around April 27th 2012. Visit www.nationalcherryblossomfestival.org or even download a free app developed for smart phone users.

No transportation? No problem. Amtrak has decided to get in on the celebration by offering a "Take a Train to Washington, DC" promotion. Book 14 days in advance and take advantage of the 25% discount. Philly to DC is just $35! For more information on this offer, call our office at 610-964-1775 or toll free at 877-636-1775.

If it's still too far to go take advantage of the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival in Philadelphia, March 23 and April 21, 2012.

We hope to hear from you. Until then, enjoy the photos.
